Lead Agency:
130,000 tonnes of plastic ends-up in the ocean every year. To articulate that scary fact, Hewlett Packard via Wunderman Bienalto launched a campaign bringing together the idea of a foreign monster that has entered the ocean, with references to marine life.
Working with Traffik, Bestoh developed, designed and engineers a physical sculpture, dubbed ‘The Beast’.
The beast was over 3m tall and made entirely from recyclable materials. To minimise our own transport exhaust pollution in creating this work, Bestoh managed production partners in central Sydney to build The Beast, and install the sculpture on Circular Quay.
